Job Duties

  • Assist with care and handling of mouse models, including basic husbandry and genotyping.
  • Auxiliary in the preparation and conduct of routine laboratory experiments following established protocols.
  • Collect, compile, and maintain accurate experimental data and records.
  • Perform basic molecular and biochemical assays in support of laboratory projects.
  • Support measurements of skeletal muscle function using established procedures and equipment.
  • Maintain laboratory organization, including cleaning, stocking, and preparation of materials.
  • Order and track laboratory supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Conduct literature searches and summarize findings relevant to ongoing studies.
  • Document experimental procedures and results in an organized and reproducible manner.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in a Basic Science or related field.
  • Two years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
  • One year of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with mouse handling or animal care is beneficial.
  • Experience with basic laboratory techniques.
