Job Duties
- Assist with care and handling of mouse models, including basic husbandry and genotyping.
- Auxiliary in the preparation and conduct of routine laboratory experiments following established protocols.
- Collect, compile, and maintain accurate experimental data and records.
- Perform basic molecular and biochemical assays in support of laboratory projects.
- Support measurements of skeletal muscle function using established procedures and equipment.
- Maintain laboratory organization, including cleaning, stocking, and preparation of materials.
- Order and track laboratory supplies and equipment as needed.
- Conduct literature searches and summarize findings relevant to ongoing studies.
- Document experimental procedures and results in an organized and reproducible manner.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a Basic Science or related field.
- Two years of related experience may substitute for degree requirement.
- One year of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with mouse handling or animal care is beneficial.
- Experience with basic laboratory techniques.
