Research Technician

About the role
This role performs routine laboratory and stability testing, prototype evaluations, validation support, and technical documentation. The position is based onsite at our World Headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa, and follows a Monday through Friday schedule during standard business hours.
Responsibilities
- Supports and assists scientific team with various R&D projects
- Routine laboratory testing and prototype evaluation
- Stability study pulls and testing
- Validation run monitoring and documentation
- Report and white paper generation
- Packaging and qualification support activities
- General laboratory operations, inventory, and equipment support
- Routine quality and documentation activities, including change management support and specification updates
Requirements
- Associate's Degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Must be highly motivated, reliable, and self-sufficient
- Attention to detail and awareness of safety
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Experience operating analytical instrumentation such as HPLC
