Schedule and Confirm Visits
This Research technician will schedule and confirm visits within the assigned time frame and ensure participants are prepared for the visits.
Educate Participants
Edutes participants about the research protocol; informs participants of their rights and responsibilities, and obtains informed consent.
Conduct Interviews
- Conducts telephone or in-person interviews to complete questionnaires.
- Gathers data & information from various collaborating sites, ensuring all forms are complete.
- Tracks information; enters into database.
- Begins to interpret results.
- Informs staff at health centers of missing and required information to ensure all forms meet agency compliance.
Process Biospecimens
- Processes biospecimens, including blood and urine samples for storage.
- Assists in the maintenance of study documents.
- Participates in weekly study meetings.
- Enters clinical data into the established data management system (REDCap).
Support General Clerical Tasks
- Makes notations of participant contact information updates.
- Handles forms.
- Makes reminder phone calls.
- Prepares study materials.
- Sends mail-outs.
- Filings.
- Runs reports.
Follow Procedures and Interpret Results
- Adheres to established procedures.
- Makes judgmental calls regarding reliability and accuracy of results.
- Repeats procedures when needed.
- Begins to interpret results.
Obtain and Maintain Certifications
- Obtains and maintains all study certifications, including Human Subjects Certification.
Other Duties
- Participates in special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with 1-3 years of experience.
Skills
- Confidentiality and privacy adherence.

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Pay

- Maximum $25.40
