Research Tech- Radiation Oncology (Akhavan Lab)

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Performing routine laboratory techniques, housekeeping, tracking, and ordering inventory.
• Responsible for animal colony maintenance.
• Keep the laboratory and equipment clean and prepped for research protocol.
• Adhere to safety and compliance guidelines.
• Assist in the preparation, calibration, maintenance of laboratory and facility equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Work Experience: 4 years of work experience in laboratory research.
• Education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
• Computer experience, including Microsoft Office suite.
• Statistical data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a science or related field.
• Work Experience: 2 years of relevant research laboratory experience.
