Research Tech I (Part Time) - Social Sciences

Location: St. Louis, MO 63130

Scheduled hours: 20 hours per week (part-time, not eligible for benefits)

About the role

The Research Technician will assist with research activities in the Emotion and Relationships Lab.

Responsibilities

• Participant recruitment and scheduling
• Data collection and management
• Behavioral coding and transcription
• Attend individual and group lab meetings
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field
• Experience in laboratory research with human participants
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Able to work as part of a team and independently
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Four years of research experience

Pay

$16.54 - $22.35 / hour
