About the role
The successful candidate will work with transgenic mouse models to conduct behavioral and physiological phenotyping, as well as histological and biochemical experiments.
Responsibilities
- Manage transgenic mouse colonies through breeding, genotyping, and weaning
- Assist with blood and tissue collection
- Conduct behavioral, physiological, and pharmacological experiments
- Perform wet lab techniques—such as cell culture, molecular biology, and solution preparation
- Comprehensively manage and analyze data
- Maintain meticulous research logs
- Prepare reports and manuscripts for publication
- Participate in lab meetings to present findings and discuss research progress
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a Biological Science, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, or other health related field
- 48 months equivalent experience in lieu of the Bachelor's Degree
