Responsibilities

  • As assigned, carries out various data cleaning, management, and programming tasks relating to relevant research activities.
  • Assists in all phases of research studies as assigned by the Principal Investigators conducting epidemiological and related research and communicates with primary data collection staff to resolve discrepancies in recorded data.
  • May assist in organizing and conducting specialized research activities for a particular research project.
  • Assists with the instructing and training of students, fellows and research staff in data analysis and relevant research projects as assigned by the Principal Investigators.
  • As directed, conducts data processing and statistical analyses.
  • Develops and maintains analytical datasets, syntax, and data dictionaries for research projects.

Requirements

Experience in data management and/or analysis while using statistical software ( SAS , R, or STATA ) in epidemiologic/population science-related projects strongly preferred.
