Duties & Essential Job Functions
- Counsults with research participants and community partners.
- Communicates with research participants and community partners.
- Supports recruitment, enrollment, and retention efforts.
- Attends and documents local needs assessments with local first responders and providers.
- Participates in community listening sessions.
- Engages with local stakeholders and partner organizations.
- Manages and maintains research data.
- Enters and verifies data in research databases.
- Scores instruments and interview responses.
- Maintains research logs and documentation.
- Prepares materials for interviews, meetings, and community events.
- Assists with coordination of local research activities.
- Provides administrative support related to study operations.
- Maintains consistent communication with TCU IBR research staff.
- Coordinates with local agencies and partners.
- Ensures adherence to study protocols and participant confidentiality requirements.
Required Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1 plus year of experience with customers, patients, or clients.
Preferred Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree Required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
- Ability to use strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to demonstrate strong organization and administrative skills.
- Ability to work independently in community settings.
- Ability to follow structured research protocols and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-site research team.
Physical Requirements
- Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information.
- Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication.
- Hearing ability for verbal communication/conversation/responses via telephone, telephone systems, and face-to-face interactions.
- Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling, lifting/moving items up to 10 lbs. and times of prolonged sitting.
Work Environment
- Combination of field-based (community) and remote/office work.
- Regular travel within the local community required.
- Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends for community events.
