Research Support Assistant III

About the role

The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Research Support Assistant III position. This position involves direct contact with older adults with memory problems. All activities are supervised. The position is 2 years long. A robust and demonstrable interest in aging and Alzheimer disease is required.

Responsibilities

• Administration of cognitive tests and rating scales
• Establish and maintain study-related regulatory tasks and reviews
• Perform screening procedures, along with other assessments and outcome monitoring protocols (in-person and over Zoom/phone)
• Assist with manuscript and presentation preparation using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
• Perform blood draw protocols after receiving standard phlebotomy training
• Communicate and interact with study participants in the form of interviews, questionnaires, and performance tasks
• Coordinate lab meetings and document contents discussed during meetings

Minimum Qualifications

• MA or MS in psychology, neuroscience, or relevant field

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrable interest in aging and Alzheimer's disease
