Research Scientist - Molecular Diagnostics

We are seeking a Research Scientist specializing in molecular diagnostics and biosensing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Translating academic research into scalable proof-of-concept solutions for molecular diagnostics.
• Leading development and testing of prototypes integrating microfluidics, electrochemical sensing, soft electronics, and nanofabrication.
• Collaborating with internal teams and academic partners to transition research into commercial products.
• Designing experiments for single-molecule detection, assay integration, and sample-to-answer systems.
• Protecting innovations through patents and contributing scientific publications.
• Advising multidisciplinary teams on biosensor system feasibility and architecture.

Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Bioengineering, Physics, or related fields.
• 3-5 years industry experience in biotechnology, with a focus on translating research into products.
• Proven expertise in molecular diagnostics, biosensors, electrochemical sensing, micro/nanofabrication, and integrated platform development.
• Strong biochemistry knowledge and patent record.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
