About the role
The Lead SURF (Subsea Umbilicals, Risers & Flowlines) Engineer is responsible for providing subsea engineering leadership and technical expertise for an offshore Decommissioning Project. The position requires a strong background in subsea engineering, with experience in decommissioning projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and oversight for subsea engineering tasks.
- Lead and manage subsea engineering teams to meet project deadlines.
- Develop and implement subsea engineering strategies to optimize project outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and success.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Subsea Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in subsea engineering and decommissioning projects.
- Proficient in subsea engineering software and tools.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications
- Experience in offshore decommissioning projects.
- Knowledge of subsea equipment and systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Valid diving certification (if applicable).
