Research Scientist I (Plant Scientist)

About the role

The Lead SURF (Subsea Umbilicals, Risers & Flowlines) Engineer is responsible for providing subsea engineering leadership and technical expertise for an offshore Decommissioning Project. The position requires a strong background in subsea engineering, with experience in decommissioning projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and oversight for subsea engineering tasks.
• Lead and manage subsea engineering teams to meet project deadlines.
• Develop and implement subsea engineering strategies to optimize project outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and success.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Subsea Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in subsea engineering and decommissioning projects.
• Proficient in subsea engineering software and tools.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in offshore decommissioning projects.
• Knowledge of subsea equipment and systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Valid diving certification (if applicable).
