Research Scientist

Responsibilities

• Propose, design, and execute experimental studies to advance new molecular assay technologies
• Analyze and interpret experimental data with strong scientific rigor and critical thinking
• Prepare and present research findings to management and the broader R&D organization
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional R&D teams to support project execution and development timelines
• Manage multiple priorities with flexibility to meet time-sensitive project milestones and organizational objectives
• Stay current with scientific literature, emerging technologies, and advances in the field
• Contribute to intellectual property development, including invention disclosures and patent filings

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Molecular Biology or a related field with 1-2 years of post-doctoral or industry experience, or M.S. in Molecular Biology or a related field with 7+ years of relevant industry experience
• Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of independently driving projects forward
• Solid foundation and broad knowledge in molecular biology and genomics
• Hands-on experience with next-generation sequencing technologies and methylation-based assays and analyses
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, cross-disciplinary environment
