About the role
The Research Scientist will contribute to cutting-edge research projects within the Robotics and AI Institute. They will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions in AI and robotics.
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research in robotics and AI
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement new technologies
- Write technical papers and present findings at conferences
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and academic institutions
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
- Strong background in machine learning, computer vision, or robotics
- Experience with AI tool development and deployment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Proven track record of successful research publications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Skills
- Proficiency in Python, C++, or other relevant programming languages
- Knowledge of deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Experience with robotics platforms and simulation tools
- Understanding of ethical considerations in AI research

Pay
- $150,000 - $200,000 annually
Schedule
- Full-time position
