Research Scientist

About the role

The Research Scientist will contribute to cutting-edge research projects within the Robotics and AI Institute. They will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions in AI and robotics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent research in robotics and AI
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement new technologies
• Write technical papers and present findings at conferences
• Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and academic institutions

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
• Strong background in machine learning, computer vision, or robotics
• Experience with AI tool development and deployment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Proven track record of successful research publications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Skills

• Proficiency in Python, C++, or other relevant programming languages
• Knowledge of deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Experience with robotics platforms and simulation tools
• Understanding of ethical considerations in AI research

Pay

• $150,000 - $200,000 annually
