About the role

The Project Manager will provide coordination and administrative oversight for the All of Us Research Program, ensuring compliance with federal grant requirements, regulatory policies and required project milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Manage program day-to-day operations and oversee reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate partner and stakeholder engagement and monitor performance metrics.
  • Facilitate communication across participating sites to support successful program implementation and achievement of project objectives.
  • Create detailed project plans and schedules; prepare, manage, and report on overall project schedule and budget to appropriate managerial levels.
  • Track project schedules, deliverables, costs/budget and time.
  • Lead day-to-day project activities required to deliver a quality solution on time.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the process of discovery, design and implementation.
  • Coordinate resources and schedules to achieve desired goals.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation; track progress and performance on initiatives.
  • Establish procedures, processes, and milestones while working with management staff to resource projects accordingly.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation; coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Identify and assess risks; facilitate resolution and escalate identified risks to management as needed.
  • Verify and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and cost.
  • Verify that the project produces the proposed benefits defined in the business case within the specified constraints of time and cost.
  • Ensure all deliverables are at an acceptable level of quality before proceeding to the next phase.
  • Deliver projects on time, within scope and within budget.
  • Conduct post-close analysis of process improvement for future projects.
  • Build an understanding of working areas; manage change skillfully and flexibly.
  • Use a systems approach to problem solving and develop/maintain productive working relationships with cross-functional project team and third-party service providers/vendors.
  • Ensure timely and appropriate communication between all members of the team by generating, collecting, and disseminating project information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in health services, life sciences, biomedical sciences, nursing, or clinical field required.
  • Master’s degree in public health, health care, business, or science-related fields is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years' experience managing full lifecycle projects desired.
  • Strong quantitative analytical skill required.
  • Advanced working knowledge with project management software and Microsoft Office required.
  • Depending on area, may require valid driver's license.
  • Those working in a clinical research setting are required to obtain Certification through Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) or Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) within two years of employment.
  • If an RN, must also be licensed with the applicable State Nursing Board and/or possess multistate licensure privileges as required by position.
