Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for the start-up activities of clinical research protocols initiated at Piedmont.
- Projects will span service lines and operational, clinical and financial areas and will be determined based on researchers' interest and engagement.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors Degree from a recognized college or university in a healthcare discipline (Required or In Lieu of degree: Six (6) years of clinical research, healthcare or related field)
- Work Experience: 5 years experience in all aspects of clinical research including study budgeting, phase I-IV research studies, screening, implementation and execution of research studies, regulatory and contracting (Required or In lieu of degree: Eleven (11) years of experience in all aspects of clinical research including study budgeting, phase I-IV research studies, screening, implementation and execution of research studies, regulatory and contracting)
- Clinical trial (investigational drug and/or device) experience (Required and Familiarity with FDA regulations and IRB processes)
- Community and academic experience in research (Preferred)
