About the Role
Manages and facilitates overall day-to-day research administration activities and operational functions. Collaborates to ensure compliance, productivity, and progress. Develops and implements program policies and procedures and adheres to protocols, regulations, and budgets. Coordinates program events and logistics. Performs budgetary functions.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance, validity, productivity, and progress of the research performed in the laboratory.
- Manage and facilitate overall day-to-day research administration activities and operational functions.
- Implement policies and procedures and ensure adherence to protocols, regulations, and budgets where needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (required).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Combination of education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education and/or experience requirement.
- Master’s degree in a relevant biological discipline; PhD degree preferred.
- A minimum of 3–5 years of experience working in a molecular biology laboratory, with understanding of RNA biology and RNA-based technologies.
- Deep understanding of basic science laboratory operations.

Physical Effort
- Moderate physical effort required.
- May be required to stand/move for several hours at a time.
- May be required to move objects up to 50 pounds with or without assistance of equipment.
Assignment Category: Part-time regular. Work Arrangement: On-Campus (teams that work on campus, in an office, or in a lab).
