Position Summary
The Research Program Coordinator (RPC) is responsible for providing administrative, operational, and programmatic support services to manage the research portfolio for specific focused programs (as an example, the Snyder Center, the Neuro-oncology program).
About the Role
Join a highly collaborative team of investigators to examine specific diseases including but not limited to atrial fibrillation, brain tumors, coronary artery disease and other conditions using electronic health record (EHR) data.
Responsibilities
- Independently conduct research including statistical analyses and prepare manuscripts and abstracts for dissemination.
- Complete and maintain Human Subjects training/certifications via the CITI program.
- Communicate, interpret, share and present information to management, staff and lay people.

- Experience with Redcap/SPSS helpful.
- Strong organizational skills and appreciation for detail and quality are an absolute must.
- Achieves subject matter proficiency by reading and synthesizing pertinent literature.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 5 years of related experience, master's candidate with 2 years' experience and at least 1 year experience of data collection and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills. This includes strong writing skills.
- Computer proficiency with excellent data management and data analysis skills are also required.
- Experience with Redcap/SPSS helpful.
- Ability to communicate, interpret, share and present information to management, staff and lay people.
- Strong organizational skills and appreciation for detail and quality are an absolute must.
- Achieves subject matter proficiency by reading and synthesizing pertinent literature.
- Familiarity with topics pertaining to health care delivery, health policy, public health, and/or acute care.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office product suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
