Research Postdoctoral Associate, Department of Psychiatry

About the role

The post-doc will assist in the conduct of current and planned clinical and translational trials. This includes assistance with recruitment, consent, clinical oversight of research staff, administration of some psychometric surveys to research participants, and training in study interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in the recruitment and consent process for clinical trials
  • Provide clinical oversight of research staff
  • Administer psychometric surveys to research participants
  • Train research participants in study interventions
  • Contribute to the high-quality conduct of clinical and translational trials
  • Develop their own area of research
  • Prepare manuscripts for peer review
  • Develop a career development application

Requirements

PhD in Psychology, Neuroscience, or related field required. Experience with clinical trials, data management, and manuscript preparation preferred.

Qualifications

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with statistical software such as SPSS or R is beneficial.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a commitment to advancing knowledge in brain and mood health research.

$50,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule
