Job Description

Leads cross-functional project teams by assigning tasks and following up to ensure on-time completion. Develops detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Communicates project goals, roles, responsibilities, and expectations to all team members. Monitors project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to stay on track. Identifies and resolves issues that may impact project deliverables or timelines. Facilitates regular project meetings to review progress, address challenges, and update stakeholders. Manages changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring alignment with overall objectives. Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project deliverables meet expectations. Utilizes project management tools and software to track progress and maintain documentation. Conducts risk assessments and implements mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions. Provides regular status updates and reports to executive sponsors and stakeholders. Ensures project compliance with organizational policies, standards, and best practices.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Demonstrates the understanding of strategic business goals, acts as a thought partner, helps stakeholders articulate needs and defines clear scope statements that include SMART goals, and ensures the team focuses on achieving the business outcomes
  • Expert in developing work breakdown structures, determining interdependencies, identifying a project's critical path, estimating level of effort using PERT analysis, and proactively managing the project to successfully deliver goals and objectives
  • Proficient at driving a project forward, monitoring and communicating progress, proactively and effectively communicating in terms of cost, forecast, schedule, and assessment of risk/issues. Anticipates stakeholder needs, proactively keeps them informed, negotiates with them to reach consensus when priorities conflict, and tailors the message and delivery style as needed
  • Proven communication and negotiation skills – oral, written, presentation, formal and informal
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of employees (Executive, Management and staff) both written and verbally
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with good organizational, follow-up, computer, and analytical skills
  • Excels in a constantly changing environment with competing priorities
  • Able to prioritize projects assigned and able to operate well under pressure and heavy workloads to meet deadlines
  • Acts as a role model; inspires teams to go beyond role expectations to help each other and exceed project goals
  • Experience in persuasion and influencing by understanding various points of view and achieving meaningful interaction. Excels at negotiating and managing conflict
  • Ability to conduct oneself professionally, maintaining confidence, confidentiality, integrity, and objectivity
  • Working knowledge of project management
  • Working knowledge of process improvement

  • Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Technical knowledge in implementation of workflows, dashboards, and reports using Project management platforms and reporting tools, such as Smartsheet, Power BI, and Excel
  • Skilled use and knowledge of the Internet and the following computer programs: Adobe PDF, Visio, MIRO, and mind mapping tools

Education

Bachelor's in Business or Healthcare

Work Experience

  • Managing projects, preferably in a healthcare or human resources field, utilizing standard project management concepts
  • Experience in persuasion and influencing by understanding various points of view and achieving meaningful interaction. Excels at negotiating and managing conflict
