Research Nurse II - Gynecologic Oncology

Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate and follow patient participation in clinical research.
• Identify, enrolling and consenting patients, organizing study visits and follow-ups, responding to patient telephone calls.
• Aid in the collection and evaluation of data.
• Complete all forms required for proper protocol documentation.
• Enter patient data into database and other programs.
• Maintain patient records.

Knowledge – Skills – Abilities

• Knowledge of biology, chemistry, mathematics, documentation, and records management.
• Data utilization, complex problem solving, critical thinking, resource management, and writing skills.

Qualifications

• Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.
• Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum Required Experience: 3 years.
• Required Certification/Licensure(s): Wisconsin RN License.

Physical Requirements

• Work requires infrequent physical effort such as walking or retrieving materials.
• Work performed in an environmentally controlled environment.
• Sensory Acuity Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required.

Other Duties as Assigned

May experience slightly disagreeable features such as temperature changes or noise from time to time.
