About the Role
We are seeking a skilled researcher proficient in a range of molecular, cellular, and auditory techniques to contribute to cutting-edge projects in inner ear biology and vestibular function.
Responsibilities & Skills
- Molecular and cell biology techniques: DNA extraction, genotyping, immunohistochemistry, western blot, RNAscope.
- Animal dissection and sample preparation: inner ear dissection, cochleae/utricle dissociation, cell collection by FACS or glass pipette suction technique, cryosection.
- Next Generation Sequencing: library prep for RNAseq, ATACseq, and Cut&Run.
- Auditory and Vestibular function tests: ABR, DPOAE, VsEP.
- Microscopy: confocal and SEM.
