Research Investigator, Senior
About the role
The Senior Research Investigator will lead, oversee, and design advanced experiments, assist the principal investigator, and play a leading role in developing a research program in a specific area of study. The role is crucial to all aspects of research products, including development, implementation, and data analysis. Responsibilities include assessing proposed projects through feasibility studies, overseeing workflow and productivity of lab personnel, and providing training on specific techniques as needed. The position also involves data analysis, manuscript preparation, and presenting research findings through various forums.
Responsibilities
- Perform data analysis and other aspects of quantitative and qualitative research, as well as theoretical research
- Review, edit, format, and write manuscripts for publication and grant proposals
- Assist with and often direct the design and implementation of original experiments
- Perform data collection and management
- Administer literature reviews
- Conduct other research and administrative duties
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Philosophy
- 5 to 7 years of postdoctoral experience
Pay
$80,891.00 – $97,500.00 annual rate. Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they relate to the position, and in alignment with market data and internal benchmarks.
