About the role
The candidate will work full time in a research study where fully autonomous robots are deployed in the homes of older adults with dementia to offer assistance with activities of daily living.
Responsibilities
- Write new code to expand the existing software framework
- Maintain the current software
- Make deployment visits to participants' homes
- Troubleshoot the system as needed
- Collect and analyze data for dissemination
Requirements
The candidate should have a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in robotics or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
- Some field deployment experience
Skills
- Prior experience with robotics
- Knowledge of ROS2
- Large-scale robot software development
Pay
Pay range: $30–$35/hour
