Research Fellow - Radiation Oncology
Responsibilities
The Mutter lab seeks a highly motivated, creative, and collaborative post-doctoral fellow interested in basic and translational research training aimed at improving the lives of patients with cancer at Mayo Clinic. The ideal candidate will be involved in discovering new tumor-specific therapeutic targets and developing novel combinatorial approaches to overcome treatment resistance, such as through manipulation of the DNA damage response and host immunity. Additionally, the candidate will investigate new biomarkers of response and resistance to radiation and other cancer treatments.
Qualifications
- Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program.
- Research Fellow is appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than one prior postdoctoral fellowship, at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere.
- A Ph.D. is preferred.
Exemption Status
- Compensation Detail: $67,282.95 - $78,711.15 / year; Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
