About the role
A Research Fellow position is available in the Department of Dermatology in Jacksonville, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Previous Research Experience: Strongly preferred, particularly in manuscript writing.
- Successful completion of USMLE Steps 1 and 2 is required.
- Publishations: Previous publications in PubMed-indexed medical journals are highly desirable, ideally as first or second author.
- Research Skills: Demonstrates proficiency in research methodologies and data analysis relevant to the field.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present research findings clearly and effectively.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary research team, contributing to a productive and innovative research environment.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and test hypotheses and troubleshoot experimental issues.
Qualifications
- Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program. Research Fellow is appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than one prior postdoctoral fellowship, at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere.
