Research Fellow, Dermatology

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical and translational research training in the field of dermatology
• Participate in intra and interdepartmental conferences
• Interact with multiple attendings with similar research interests
• Aid in preparation of abstracts and manuscripts which may lead to opportunities to present or publish scholarly work
• Work with the Principal Investigator to formulate research plans, coordinating project activities, and establishing appropriate reporting procedures
• Make modifications to research procedures in collaboration with the Principal Investigator
• Confer with the Principal Investigator regarding results obtained and receive suggestions for modification to procedures and/or interpretation of final data

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved medical school
• Completed one-year of residency training
• Hold a permanent Texas Medical License

This position is located in Galveston, Texas, and is a non-manager, day shift role.
