Duties/Responsibilities
- Serve as an Engineer for UAS general development, including digital defense techniques and security
- Develop and maintain integration of UAS AI/ML software and supporting hardware
- Maintain the configuration of integration software and hardware
- Support hands-on testing updates for UAS operations and software functions
- Support program and technical interchange meetings
Minimum Requirements
- Master's degree - preferably in science, engineering, or business
- (Bachelor's and 2 years of full-time directly related experience in a specialized area may be substituted)
- 15 - 18 months (1.25 - 1.5 years) of full-time work experience
- Computer Programming Languages for Aviation and Aerospace programs: C++, Python, Java
- Experience working within an Academic Environment at UAH
- US Citizenship Required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience or Masters Degree in a computer engineering, scientific, or aviation management field
- Strong interest in computational geometry
- Ability to think logically in the algorithmic development for computational statistical analysis
