About the role
Drive Invention and Innovation. Deliver and shape differentiated offerings for company’s Priority markets. Develop new technologies and platforms and translate into new strategic growth opportunities. Highlight promising ways to reposition the business through disruptive breakthroughs. Contribute to scoping experiments to demonstrate idea feasibility and provide rationale for next steps.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to appropriate experimentation and formulations development, trials, testing and characterization requirements, analyses, and other tasks to support project needs.
- Provide rationale for next steps
- Contribute to experimental and theorical work necessary to support invention disclosure submissions and patent filings
- Maintain an organized and tidy workspace to promote efficiency and a safe environment.
- Recommend any additional equipment or capability required for job execution.
Requirements
- Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s (BS)/Master’s (MS) Degree in Science or similar discipline
- Work Experience: 5 + (BS Only), 1+ Years in related field
- Preferred Requirements: Independent, Self-Starter, Curious, Problem Solver, Analytical, Collaborative Hands-On Lab R&D: Design, prepare, and physically execute bench-scale experiments, material trials, and chemical formulations to prove feasibility and accelerate product development.
- Radi/Frequency Identification (RFID) or wireless communication skills
- PPE in R&D Lab as needed per activity. May include safety glasses, steel-toed boot, gloves, etc.
Qualifications
- Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like.
- Stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, reaching, pushing, or pulling.
- Adjusting or moving objects to up 40 pounds in all directions.
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, or fingers.
- Operating machinery or power tools.
- Occasionally Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures (high or low).
- Outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind.
- Noisy environments.
- Other hazardous conditions such as vibrations, uneven ground surfaces or dust and fumes.

$86,080.00 - $129,120.00 Annual
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8AM - 4:00PM (some flexibility)
