Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead the development and operation of a new STEM education program
- Manage, perform research, and conduct STEM education program outreach to participating schools
- Collaborate with IDEAS laboratory and RI management as needed regarding the STEM education program
- Engage with UAH facilities and administrative staff to host the program participants on campus each semester
- Supervise, guide, and direct student workers
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering
- Microsoft Office experience
- US Citizenship is required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with Materials Concentration
- Experience planning and executing events on campus
- Experience designing experimental test plans to validate bio-based polymer synthesis pathways
- Experience managing a team to work with high school students to pursue higher education
- Experience analyzing experimental data (NMR and DSC) to verify material properties
