RESEARCH DATA ANALYST II

Job Description and Duties

Under the general supervision of the Research Data Supervisor I, the Research Data Analyst II independently performs varied and complex data analyses, builds and maintains business intelligence reports, and reviews, researches and responds to customer service inquiries on existing tools to support mental health program evaluation and quality improvement within the Statewide Mental Health Program (SMHP) and the Tele-Mental Health (TMH) program.

Qualifications

• Experience in data analysis and report development
• Knowledge of mental health program evaluation and quality improvement
• Ability to maintain and update business intelligence reports
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access
• Experience with data management systems and databases

Requirements

• Full-time status required
• Employees in Bargaining Unit 1 and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees will have their base salary reduced by 3 percent effective July 1, 2025, and will receive 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027.
• Part-time employees are subject to the same conditions as full-time employees, on a prorated basis equivalent to their time-base.
• Permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same condition as full-time employees, based on the number of hours worked in the pay period.

Pay
