Research Coordinator - PMR Neuropsychology
About the role
This position supports the research of senior investigators in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, focusing on the Division of Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Psychology and the Division of Pediatric Neuropsychology. It involves assisting with study start-up, conducting study visits, creating and maintaining data collection systems, and serving as a liaison for external organizations.
Responsibilities
- Independently creates and carries out research studies as assigned
- Assists with study start-up (preparing training materials, setting up data collection platforms, ordering supplies/equipment, etc.)
- Recruits, screens, enrolls and consents participants
- Conducts study visits, administers study protocol including specialized assessments that require certification, scores assessments and, monitors and compensates participants
- Creates and maintains data collection systems and study databases, processes and enters data
- Provides regular study updates to the project manager and investigators and assists with communications with subcontracted data collection sites, if applicable
- Aids with regulatory (IRB) and sponsor reporting, prepares site for sponsor monitoring visits
- Aids in the development and maintenance of the REDCap databases for projects within the Division of Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Psychology
- Serves as the primary point of contact, coordinates meetings, and independently creates and delivers presentations for organizations who advocate/support the populations of the studies they are working on
- Attends national and local meetings, support groups and other community events as our lab's representative
- Completes other duties as assigned
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- A Bachelor's degree
- Experience in research coordination and data management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of REDCap and familiarity with neuropsychological assessments
- Ability to pass a Pennsylvania State Child Protection Clearance and TB testing

Pay
The starting salary range for this position is $17.74/hr to $22.17/hr.
Schedule
The position is full-time regular, with a work schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and a hybrid work arrangement is available after the new hire provisional period.
