About the role

Manages participant recruitment and study assessment visits under the supervision of the PIs. Oversees the research assistants as they assemble and administer research protocols. Performs administrative tasks, supervises training of research assistants, sets up and participates in conducting child assessments (including Mullen, WWPSI, Mullen, ITSEA, MB-CDI), utilizes Tobii Eye Tracker for data collection, and oversees data management and coordinates data collection.

Supervises project staff and monitors project staff performance. Assists with administering assessments and oversight of data collection activities. Compiles, processes, and analyzes data; records research procedures and results; files and maintains records; codes data for input for electronic data processing; inputs and retrieves data using computers. Provides support in the day to day activities of the project. Ensures that staff is aware of grant protocols and is in accordance with grant timeline. Assists the Principal Investigator in short and long-range resource planning for the project.

Recruits participants (social media outreach and attending community events). Manages participant information across visits, updates datasets from all assessments, presents and distributes results of the research to parents. Interfaces with families in the community in English and Spanish.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience interacting with infants, children, and their parents.
  • Bilingual Spanish.
  • Knowledge of statistics, research methods, LENA Pro software, SPSS, RedCap.
