Research Asst - PhD in Rehab Sciences
About the role
A graduate student employed to work up to 20 hours per week in support of faculty research activities within the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences. This student contributes to all phases of the research process, including literature review, study design, data collection and analysis, scholarly writing, and dissemination of research findings.
Responsibilities
- Completing and submitting weekly work activity reports to the assigned supervisor.
- Conducting literature searches and reviewing scientific literature.
- Assisting with research study design and protocol development.
- Collecting, managing, and analyzing research data.
- Preparing manuscripts, abstracts, reports, and other scholarly products for submission.
- Aiding in grant-related activities.
- Presenting research findings at professional meetings and conferences.
- Supporting regulatory and compliance requirements related to research projects.
Requirements
Enrolled in the graduate program of an institution within the Texas Tech University System.
Qualifications
- Current certification or licensure in athletic training, audiology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech-language pathology.
- Currently enrolled in the Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Science program at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC).
- Graduate degree in Rehabilitation Science or a related field.
