Research Associate, The Beirne B. Carter Immunology Research Center

Responsibilities

• Full-time research and/or scholarship at the University
• Supervised by a senior scholar; and allows the appointee to publish the results of his/her research or scholarship
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Aid in maintaining and upkeeping of laboratory, as applicable

Qualifications

• Education: Doctoral degree
• Preferred qualifications: Highly motivated to develop new research avenues; excellent written and oral communication skills; intensive experience in small animal procedures, flow cytometry, molecular biology and immune cell purification and culture, etc.; experience in molecular biology, microscopy, cellular immunology, T cell biology, lung biology, murine models of disease, and human samples
