Associate Scientist, Immunology
Key Responsibilities
- Independently design and execute in vitro assays to evaluate immune cell function, including multi-color flow cytometry, cytotoxicity assays and other functional readouts under the guidance of scientists
- Conduct ex vivo analysis of immune cells through tissue processing and downstream assays and analyses
- Develop, execute, and troubleshoot experimental protocols under the guidance of senior members on the team, and maintain accurate and timely electronic laboratory notebook records
- Analyze and communicate experimental data at team meetings
Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in biology, immunology, bioengineering or related discipline with 6+ year of relevant industry experience in immunology and/or immunotherapy.
- Strong experimental skills, including tissue culture, primary immune cell culture, flow cytometry, immunoassay development, and ex vivo mouse model and NHP sample processing
- Experience with non-viral delivery technologies and nucleic acid modalities is preferred
- Experience with primary human and/or NHP T cells is preferred
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working with highly technical projects and personnel
- Highly adaptable and responsive to delivering challenging commitments

Salary Range
The salary range for this role is $96,000 - $126,500. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
