Research Associate II - Formulation (Contract)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Research to identify and prepare preclinical formulations.
- Perform supportive stability studies and develop instructions to enable reproducible formulation preparation.
- Design and execution of pre-formulation studies to determine the chemical and physical properties of our small molecule drug candidates.
- Analytical support for our drug products which include in-process testing of powder blends and final product testing of tablets.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience working in a laboratory with analytical instrumentation, preferably with previous experience in pre-formulation and formulation development.
- Experience with HPLC in the development of analytical methods for the analysis and characterization of small molecule samples is a plus.
- Good oral and written communications skills.
- Enjoy working with others in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
- Self-motivated and organized, enjoy scientific investigation and thinks proactively to identify issues and develop solutions.
Benefits
- The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in our South San Francisco location is between $35-$45 per hour.
- The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the title, type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc.
