About the role
The Research Associate will perform routine and complex computational tasks, develop, adapt, and implement novel research algorithmic techniques and software, curate and analyze data, work with state-of-the-art computing hardware, assist in preparing grant proposals, and participate in publications and presentations.
Responsibilities
- May assist in the preparation of grant proposals, but is not responsible for generating grant funds.
- Designs and performs experiments.
- Keeps appropriate experimental records and documentation and analyzes the results with the Principal Investigator.
- Develops, adapts, and implements new research techniques and protocols.
- Analyzes, interprets, summarizes, and compiles data.
- Performs routine and complex computational tasks throughout the training period.
- Operates and maintains group hardware, software, and data.
- Might observe MD-patient or MD-human research subject interactions as it pertains directly to research being performed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences - Minimum Requirement
- 1 year of experience - Preferred
- No licenses or certifications required
