Research Assistant, Walther Collection
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and
for prose. Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading (the page already shows it) and do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into short
or drop it. Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. IMPORTANT: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g. "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones.
We need to decide which sections to include: About the role? The posting includes "About The Metropolitan Museum Of Art" which is about the organization, not the role. Could be considered "About the role"? But the instruction says "About the role" is an example heading. However we can also use "About the Museum" maybe? But they said use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). So we should stick to those headings if content matches. The posting includes a description of the museum and its values; that could be considered "About the role"? Not exactly. But we could treat it as "About the role" (the role context). However they said do NOT repeat the job title as a heading. The job title is "Research Assistant". Not present as heading.
We have sections: GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES, PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES, REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS, COMPENSATION RATE, Benefits Offerings, Location Requirements, Visa Sponsorship, etc.
We need to remove boilerplate: EEO, accommodation statement, etc. Also remove duplicated lines.
We need to keep substantive info: description of museum, responsibilities, requirements, qualifications, compensation rate, benefits, location requirements, visa sponsorship note.
We need to format with headings and

We need to decide which sections to include: About the role? Could be "About the Museum" but not in list. Perhaps we can include "About the role" as a heading and put the museum description there. Or we could skip that and start with Responsibilities. But the instruction says prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. We could combine "About the role" and "Responsibilities"? But better to follow examples.
Let's map:
- About the role: could include the museum description and maybe the general statement of responsibilities? But we have separate sections for responsibilities.
- Responsibilities: we have GENERAL STATEMENT and PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES. Could combine into one Responsibilities section.
- Requirements: we have REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS (includes education, background, skills). Could be Requirements section.
- Qualifications: maybe separate but we can combine.
- Skills: could be part of Requirements.
- Benefits: we have Benefits Offerings.
- Pay: we have COMPENSATION RATE.
- Schedule: we have time frames: January 2027-2029 (duration). That's schedule info. Could be Schedule section.
- Location Requirements: could be part of Schedule? Or separate? Not in list but we could include as a short p under Schedule or as its own section? The instruction says only use those headings; but we could also add other headings if needed? It says use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It doesn't forbid other headings, but suggests those examples. Safer to stick to those. Location could be placed under Schedule or maybe under About the role? But better to include as a short p under Schedule? Not ideal.
We could treat location as part of "Schedule" (since schedule includes time frame and location). Or we could create a separate section "Location" but not in examples; risk.
Visa Sponsorship: note that visa sponsorship is not available. Could be included under Requirements or maybe as a short p under Requirements.
We need to remove boilerplate: EEO statement, accommodation statement, etc.
We need to preserve all substantive info: museum description, responsibilities list, requirements list, compensation rate, benefits list, location requirements, visa sponsorship note, time frame.
Let's extract substantive content:

We also have a statement: "We recognize that it is highly unlikely that someone meets 100% of the desired attributes for a role. If much of this job description describes you, then please apply for this role." That's somewhat boilerplate/application encouragement; maybe we should remove as application instruction? It's not exactly instruction to apply but encouragement. Might be considered boilerplate; but it's substantive? It's generic. Probably remove.
Also EEO statement etc remove.
Now we need to format.
