About the role
The Eating Anxiety Treatment (EAT) Laboratory at the University of Louisville is seeking a Research Assistant Professor to join their team. This position is a grant-funded, non-tenure track faculty role that involves collaborating on grant submissions, leading and co-leading intervention, intensive longitudinal data, implementation, and technology development projects. The position is ideal for a mission-driven, team-oriented clinical scientist who wants to contribute to the lab's scientific mission through collaborative leadership.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Dr. Cheri Levinson to write grants and lead/co-lead intervention, intensive longitudinal data, implementation, and technology development projects.
- Contribute to the mentorship of students and staff.
- Participate in teaching and clinical work as desired.
Requirements
- PhD in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, neuroscience).
- Experience in conducting cutting-edge research related to eating disorders.
- Ability to work collaboratively and take on a leadership role in grant submissions and large-scale projects.
Qualifications
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
- Experience in providing high-quality, evidence-based treatment for eating disorders.
- Ability to train the next generation of eating disorder researchers and clinicians.
- Knowledge of distributing scientifically-based prevention programs.
- Experience advocating for increased awareness, better treatment, and services for eating disorders.
- Commitment to working towards a more equitable and inclusive future that alleviates barriers to accessing high-quality treatment, prevention, and research for underserved populations.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
Schedule
