Research Focus

Expertise is required in the specific area of transcriptional regulation, including genomic architecture, and circadian biology, specifically in the fields of chromatin and transcription with emphasis on genome-wide approaches in diabetes and obesity models, preferably in circadian models.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or equivalent degree
  • Demonstrated excellent qualifications in research including a track record of publication in the areas of transcriptional regulation, including genomic architecture, and circadian biology
  • The ability to obtain and maintain extramural funding

Responsibilities

  • Generating and characterizing novel reagents for gene expression
  • Mouse models of regulators of circadian physiology
  • Analyzing large next generation sequencing datasets
