Research Assistant Professor - Immunoengineering
Responsibilities
Design, execute, and analyze complex experiments in the field of immunoengineering.
Develop proposals to secure external funding to support research programs.
Collaborate in the preparation of or lead research proposals to secure external funding
Collaborate with other faculty members and supervise graduate and undergraduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and technicians working in research laboratories.
Present research results at professional conferences and participate in department/college committees.
Qualifications
- A Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) in Biomolecular Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely-related discipline.
- At least two years of experience as postdoctoral associate in a research laboratory or relevant experience in industry.
- A strong record of scholarly productivity in the form of published research.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information
This is a non-tenure track position. Initial appointment will be for one year and may be renewed based on a positive performance evaluation and availability of funds. The position is available effective immediately.
