Research Assistant - Part Time

Part-time, hourly, non-exempt position.

About the role

DRI seeks a Part-Time Research Assistant who will work under the supervision of Dr. Rasouli. Position is prohibited from any interaction with VA subjects and/or VA subject data.

Responsibilities

• Project management support (e.g., tracking timelines and milestones; communications management, printing, filing, maintaining subject binders for Research Coordinators).
• Project administrative support (e.g., meetings, research and project files).
• Regulatory compliance.
• Qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Dissemination of research findings (e.g., support manuscript writing, presentation of results, research reports, and use of alternative and social media).

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree (BS or BA) or higher in a related field.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
• Proven ability to work with participants with high complexity, both medically and psychosocially.
• Desire to learn and work collaboratively with a team.
• Ability to work individually and as a team to support team-based science.
• Candidate must be able to be federally badged via a WOC (without compensation) Letter as administered by the VA and to include any background tests or screenings as required by the VA.

Work Environment

This job operates in a business-casual office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Pay

$17.50 per hour
