Research Assistant - Kwapis Lab

Part-time position in the Kwapis research lab, Department of Biology, Eberly College of Science.

About the role

Performs a variety of tasks associated with designing and conducting research projects and experiments. Collects, correlates, analyzes, summarizes, and reports data. Informs Principal Investigator (PI) of research information in accordance with established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, design, and execution of research projects under general direction of senior research personnel and according to standard protocols or research plans.
• Contribute to experiments and tests in the laboratory or field to test, prove, or modify theoretical propositions.
• Collect, process, and present data.
• Provide support for research projects, including gathering, summarizing, and interpreting information on laws, policies, industry standards, and emerging trends in the field of study.
