About the role

This Research Assistant assistantship is available to master's students assigned to a specific faculty member conducting research or scholarly endeavors. Duties will vary based on the project and may include research, scholarly functions, or other creative tasks.

Schedule

• Maximum appointment is 20 hours per week (50% FTE) during Fall and Spring semesters.
• May increase up to 40 hours per week (100% FTE) during summer if funded by a grant.

Requirements

• Currently admitted to the Graduate School.
• In good academic standing.
• Registered full-time for the respective semester:
  • Nine (9) semester credit hours during Fall and Spring semesters.
  • Three (3) semester credit hours during summer session(s), or the required number to fulfill remaining degree plan requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Assigned to a specific faculty member conducting research or scholarly work.
