What You'll Do
- Execute neutralizing antibody and total antibody assays on clinical and non-clinical samples
- Maintain cell lines used for live-virus or pseudovirus neutralization assays
- Perform high-throughput manual pipetting across assay batches
- Formulate buffers, cell culture media, and assay reagents per SOP
- Run positive and negative controls for every assay batch to confirm data validity
- Clean, calibrate, and maintain microplate readers, incubators, and biosafety cabinets
- Accession, aliquot, and track clinical serum or plasma samples in the LIMS
- Track expiration dates and stock levels for reference standards and other critical assay components
- Collect raw data from plate readers and calculate preliminary titers (IC50/EC50) and antibody concentrations for Lab Director review
- Neutralize and dispose of biohazardous waste in line with regulatory requirements
What We Need From You
- 5+ years of relevant laboratory experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience in a CLIA or other regulated laboratory environment
- Experience with LIMS systems
- Experience working with immunological assays
- PREFERRED / BONUS: Master's degree in a related field
- PREFERRED / BONUS: Experience with ELISA specifically
- PREFERRED / BONUS: Experience with LabVantage LIMS specifically
- PREFERRED / BONUS: Experience working in BSL-2 or BSL-3 containment environments
