Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in research or science field required; neurosciences preferred.
- Strong motivation for curiosity-driven research, hypothesis-generation and constant desire to improve understanding of lab’s area of research.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Experience with database management.
Skills/Abilities/Competencies Required
- Proficiency in regulatory compliance for human subjects in clinical research or the willingness to acquire such proficiency with training is required.
- Careful attention to details and a meticulous approach to recording data are essential skills for this position.
- High degree of computer literacy. Working knowledge of data management software and procedures.
- Proficiency with Redcap is preferred.
- Experience with Power Point, Excel and other Microsoft office programs.
- The ability to pay attention to detail, a meticulous approach to recording data, and the ability to work well with others on a clinical research team.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to independently resolve problems.
- A strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- The ability to work self-reliantly.
