The Research Assistant I assumes responsibility for assisting research personnel in projects related to the Principal Investigator's research portfolio.
The ideal candidate is a professional, personable, and organized individual with the ability to multi-task, a desire to learn and grow, and enthusiasm for working with many staff and projects. This is an entry-level position with opportunity for growth.
Responsibilities
- Assisting research personnel in projects related to the research program, which may include but is not limited to:
- Data entry
- Prepping materials for experiments
- General lab maintenance duties as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in a relevant field
- Hands-on research experience preferred
- Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Pay
Salary range: $16.40 - $22.38 per hour. Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among team members in similar positions.
