Responsibilities
- Meticulous adherence to study protocols
- Managing data collection activities
- Maintaining precise participant records
- Collaborating with the team to ensure project success
- Attending or facilitating meetings and other communications
- Scheduling and performing initial contact with prospective research subjects
- Understanding and explaining research protocol, consent forms
- Collecting, coding, and entering study information into a database
- Assisting in data compilation
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records and study information
- Preparing reports and summaries as needed
- Managing financial records for dissemination and reconciliation of participant incentives
- Interviewing project participants individually or in groups
- Ensuring that completed questionnaires are complete, legible, and accurate
- Making follow-up contact with participants to obtain missing or questionable data
- Spearheading lab recruitment efforts as needed
- Coordinating the scheduling of required laboratory tests and/or exams
- Processing samples for shipping and performing other procedures specific to study protocols
- Operating and maintaining clinical research laboratory equipment
- Developing, monitoring, and adhering to timelines for project goals
- Maintaining complete and accurate records and files pertaining to one or more research studies
- Making descriptive reports of research study progress and outcomes
- Making recommendations to investigators to improve research processes and outcomes
- Assisting in preparation and submission of adverse events, protocol deviations or variations and data reports
- Responding to internal and external regulatory and financial audits
- Demonstrating effective communication skills
- Maintaining strict confidentiality
- Demonstrating exceptional customer service and positive working relationships
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in a related field of study preferred
- 2 years of experience in lieu of a diploma/GED
