Research Assistant
This role operates within a Philippine travel agency and tour operator specializing in domestic and international packages, groups, corporate/incentive travel, ticketing, hotels, transfers, and visa assistance. The Research Assistant’s distinct contribution is ensuring data and reporting reliability while keeping applicant screening separate from customer payment and visa-service operations.
About the Role

- Review research-focused assistance with dashboard reporting, ensuring traceability of data and actions.
- Document role-specific workflows (e.g., Travbest) with status tracking for transparency.
- Maintain data validation and deadline management to prevent downstream rework.
- Reconcile documentation with reporting to ensure accuracy and usability.
- Coordinate quality control with workflow management, surfacing repeated errors before they impact operations.
Key Standards
- Data Reliability: Ensure research outputs remain usable under the demands of travel agency operations, with traceable work and clear ownership of unresolved items.
- Workflow Context: Use Travbest and data analysis tools confidently to support research-focused assistance.
- Accuracy & Deadlines: Apply rigorous data validation without losing track of evidence or timelines.
- Process Compliance: Document decisions and escalations to maintain clarity in reasoning.
- Follow-Up Judgment: Prioritize outside confirmations over assumptions to avoid errors.
