About the Department
The College of Public Health focuses on epidemiology and biostatistics, advancing research and education in public health disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews with study participants by phone and over Zoom (75% of time).
- Attend recruiting events and promote the study to potential participants in a positive and engaging manner.
- Assist in data collection and perform Spanish interpretation at the Clinical and Translational Research Unit.
- Rapidly respond to email, text, and phone inquiries from potential and current study participants (25% of time).
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in data collection methods such as conducting surveys, making observations, running focus groups, and performing subject interviews.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include prior experience in research-related activities or public health settings.

Pay
Advertised salary: $14.30 per hour.
Schedule
- Part-time (0.125 FTE).
- Monday–Friday, with additional schedule details to be provided.
